Regional Services Administrator 
Jim is a seasoned hospitality professional with over three decades of operational rooms division experience in hotel management. He joined the CHOC team in 2023 after serving as member of the Region 6 Regional Advisory Board for a decade and nationally within the region for eight of those years. With a current Certified Hotel Administrator certificate from the American Hotel & Lodging Association, Jim has demonstrated expertise in managing various types of hotels, including select service, full service, and extended stay properties. During his tenure in the industry, he served as a board member of the New York State Hospitality and Tourism Association, Greater Syracuse Hospitality and Tourism Association, and Visit Syracuse. He has an extensive background in hotel accounting and revenue management, ensuring profitability and efficiency in hotel operations. Jim holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Hotel and Resort Management from the State University of New York at Delhi. He continuously engages in professional development to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in hospitality management and marketing. Jim enjoys spending his free time with his family when he isn’t answering calls from his local fire and rescue department.
